I try to refrain from doing too many asks here on my blog, but I think this one is fairly reasonable and lots of fun. Do you like reading? Do you like children’s books? Do you like celebrities, athletes, volunteers and community members? Well if you answered yes to any or all of these please make sure to check out the awesome celebration we have planned through my work this Friday, February 26th starting at 9:00am (Pacific Standard Time). We will have a full day of celebrating the joy of children’s books and people coming together to read aloud. Professional athletes, celebrities and more will be joining us to read and you may even see an appearance from a certain actor who may or may not have played Napoleon Dynamite and Jimmy MacElroy 🙂
The area that I support and have worked really hard on is showing from 3:30-4:30pm (PST) and then we have a statewide celebration starting at 6:00pm. Please join us and if you’re willing to support we’ll make sure all money donated goes to supporting our work of getting books delivered to kids and inspiring a love of reading.
