Sibling Love

Is there anything more sweet and heartwarming than a child choosing to show how much they love and care about someone? Isn’t it even more beautiful when the person their showing love to is their sibling? One of the things I enjoy most about my kids is how much they love each other and the compassion they show for one another. Continue reading

What’s That?

Have you watched your toddler’s eyes when they see something that really interests them? They seem to twinkle with wonder and curiosity. These little people who often jump from toy to toy and activity to activity without notice can be fully captivated by certain things. For each child, it’s different, but for both of our kids something that we noticed them noticing often were birds. They would see a bird flying through the air when we were outside or hopping around in the grass looking for worms near our back porch and would immediately be transfixed and point to wherever the bird was. Not A Baby Anymore

Reading With Wigglers

How amazing is it when our little toddlers love to read? They grab books and look up at you with those adorable eyes asking you to read to them. It’s hard for your heart not to melt as those precious little ones climb up on your lap and get excited about their favorite book. Continue reading

One-on-one Time

Recently I received a wonderful reminder of the importance of quality one-on-one time I got with my kids. My daughter and I went on a nice walk the other night that turned into less walking and a lot more playing at the park. This little girl is fearless and absolutely loves playing on the slide. She kept climbing up and sliding down over and over again. Her beautiful smile greeting me over and over again. It was a great way to connect and get to spend some time just with her doing something she loves. Continue reading
